Southwest District Caucus

The Southwest District Caucus will be on Saturday, July 26 at 4:00-5:15 pm in the Wisconsin Center Ballrooms A&B.

T-L Division Photo

The T-L Division group photo is scheduled for Sunday, July 27 at 12:45 p.m. in Exhibit Hall B.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to our appointment time to ensure we are all there and ready to go.  If our entire group is not available during our scheduled time, they will have to move on to the next ready group.  Also, there are no camera's or picture taking allowed in the group photo area.

Association Influencers Meeting

Calling all Association Influencers!  There will be a special meeting immediately following the conclusion of the Sunday Business Session scheduled from 10:15 am to 1:00 pm.  ALL DELEGATES, by virtue of their service, are influencers.  Additional influencers were chosen by an application process and have already been notified by HQ of their selection.  Please don't miss this important meeting!

T-L Division Dinner

Did you sign up for the division dinner?  If so, you are in for a special evening at the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery.  The dinner is on Monday, July 28 at 6:30-8:30.  No transportation needed -- it's located within walking distance of the Wisconsin Center.  The address is 740 N. Plankinton Ave.  Hope to see you there!

2014-15 Presidents Leadership Brown Bag Coffee

2014-15 Chapter Presidents (or their designated substitutes) are invited to attend this informational leadership networking event with International President, Antoinette Smith, CAP-OM and the 2014-15 International Board of Directors on Wednesday, July 30 at 7:15-8:15 am in the Wisconsin Center Ballrooms C&D.  Bring your own breakfast/coffee.  RSVP's are required to ensure adequate seating.  If you would like to attend and haven't yet RSVP'd, contact me directly and I will send you the information.

Hotel and Convention Center Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the Wisconsin Convention Center and the Hilton hotel including the guest rooms.  For those staying at the Hyatt, HQ negotiated a Wi-Fi group discount of $4.95 per day.

Delegates and Alternates

Chapter delegates and alternates received a separate email from me on July 18 with all the information they need to know to perform their duties!

Members, log in and click here to access the handouts we have available currently for EFAM. This list will be updated as additional handouts become available.

The EFAM 2014 App is now accessible to all registered attendees.

The app is actually a website utilized as an app, anyone with access to the internet may view it. Please visit via any internet browser (including your smart phone or tablet) to access the app. You must use the email address you registered with to login.

Add the app to your home screen or bookmark it for easier access. You will not require wifi to visit the app; it will only require wifi access to refresh for new information. This will be done automatically every time your device accesses wifi. (Wifi will be available at the convention center, and login information will be provided onsite.)

Attendees, after logging in please indicate your preferred schedule in order to assign education rooms accordingly. Go to the Agenda menu item and +Add to Your Schedule the sessions you wish to attend. Please note that the agenda only shows one day at a time, so you will need to select each day of the conference (at the top of the section). Room assignments will be added to the app, as well provide this information multiple locations onsite. If you are planning to attend the City Stroll (morning walk) at EFAM, please add this to your schedule as well.

CAP Exam - Computer-Based Testing

One of the initiatives of our Strategic Plan 2013-2018 is to move our CAP certification exam and OM specialty exam from paper and pencil testing to computer-based testing.

We are excited to announce that we currently plan to move to computer-based testing in 2015. We can’t share a lot of specifics yet; however, we can say that computer-based testing will be done through a company with secure testing centers and a consistent delivery system, with testing locations throughout North America.

In order to make this a smooth transition, we will not be providing testing for CAP certification or the OM specialty in November 2014. As such, the only test date in 2014 will be the upcoming May exams...
