El Centro College’s BOSS Program Awarded Scholarship
The Big D Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and the 2014 Texas-Louisiana Division IAAP Annual Meeting Host Committee combined funds to establish the new “DFW Area International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) Award Scholarship” through the DCCCD Foundation.
The DFW Area IAAP Award Scholarship will be awarded to students majoring in the Business Office Systems and Support (BOSS) Program’s Executive Assistant Associate in Applied Sciences Degree at
El Centro College who qualify based on the submitted criteria. One Scholarship will be awarded each Spring and Fall semester.
Olivia Frazier Kerr (left), Coordinator/Professor of the BOSS Program at El Centro College, accepted the awarded scholarship check in the amount of $2,450.00 from Pam Morison, CAP-OM (right), on behalf of Big D Chapter IAAP and 2014 TX-LA Division Annual Meeting Host Committee. Ms. Morison presented the award at the recent BOSS Program Advisory Board Meeting.
